Winterfest at Perrot State Park

A wonderful day to celebrate winter!

February 11th, 2023 from 3pm to 7pm

During daylight hours, guests can try out snow shoes and warm themselves around a fire.  There will be a packed sledding hill behind the nature center, and cleared trail in the Nature Center prairie for those who wish to hike a less snowy trail.  

​

As soon as the sun sets, there will be a candle lit snowshoe/hiking trail near the Nature center and through the prairie.

​

If there is sufficient snow, snow piles will be available for sculpting.

 

Please note that, unfortunately, dog sled rides and horse drawn wagon ride will not be available this year.

Of course, all of this is weather dependent.
